Who we are
Most companies invest millions of dollars designing great products for their customers. Nearly none apply that same thinking to the work their people do. 11fold was founded on the idea that work is a product, and that like any product, it can be designed. This simple shift in thinking builds resilience and trust at every level of the organization. The framework we provide is simple, easy to understand, and can be integrated within a team or across an entire organization.
Dart Lindsley developed this framework over a long career leading transformation organizations, and practiced while leading Global Process Excellence for Google People Operations, explored the impacts of applying design thinking to work through his “Work for Humans” podcast, and has shared what we have learned at conferences around the world.
Today, we work with leadership teams who recognize that yesterday’s tools don’t work in today’s environment.
2.
Work is a product, and it can be designed
The work experience is not an accident. It's the result of decisions that have or haven't been made. It can be understood, assessed, and improved.
1.
Every organization is a multi-sided business
External customers pay with money; employees pay with time, energy, and talent. Both deserve a product designed to earn that payment.
What we believe
3.
Engagement and resilience are design outcomes
You can’t manage your way to an engaged, resilient workforce. You have to design your way there. Engagement, trust, and resilience follows when work is structured to earn it.
4.
People support what they helped to create
Magic happens when employees are part of designing change. Co-creation is the only reliable path to adoption.
Dart Lindsley
CEO and Creator of Multi-sided Management
Dart Lindsley spent two decades leading HR transformation at Cisco and People Operations at Google before founding 11fold. What he built was a methodology forged from practice: real organizations, real failures, and real change.
Multi-sided management is the product of that work. Dart developed it, tested it at scale, and refined it across hundreds of leadership teams before ever teaching it outside an organization. It works because it was never theoretical.
Today Dart hosts one of the top management podcasts in the world, leads a growing community of practitioners, and works directly with leadership teams ready to build organizations designed for the world that exists now.
